escort cards...{place cards}

I read recently, probably in my new Mindy Weiss Big Wedding Book, that technically "escort cards" were used so male guests would know who they were escorting to their seats. The cards we put out so guests know where to sit are called "place cards".

I thought these were cute, and totally DIY-able. Maybe I'll have a sign on the table with these luggage tags about "traveling to your seat" or something totally and completely cheesy :) .

Here's another cute vintage luggage tag which I like...love the ribbon and metal...
